Center for Jewish Legal Studies

Fellowship Program

The CJLS Fellowship Program identifies and supports subject-matter experts—legal scholars, practitioners, and policymakers—to advance the field of Jewish Legal Studies.

CJLS Fellows are experts in their field of legal study committed to advancing scholarship in this field by advancing legal scholarship at the intersection of Jewish Legal Studies and their primary field of legal expertise. CJLS Fellows publish articles in law reviews and journals, and other academic publications. With CJLS support, Fellows lead and organize a cohort of scholars to work together as they publish Jewish-identity-informed scholarship in their field of expertise.

Fellows responsible for discrete areas of legal study work together and enjoy the opportunity to network and collaborate on interdisciplinary projects.

If you are interested in engaging with a dynamic network of legal scholars committed to defending Jewish civil rights, please complete the CJLS Fellowship Application.
