To establish and advance the field of Jewish Legal Studies, an emerging field of study which examines how legal systems interact with the Jewish people.

Jewish Legal Studies explores how law recognizes, regulates, protects, and has been used to target, discriminate against, and even sanction violence against Jews as a people—and how these legal frameworks shape Jewish equality, vulnerability, and self-determination across history and in contemporary law.
